Summary: A Christmas Carol recounts the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. After their visits, Scrooge is transformed into a kinder, gentler man.

A classic is always a delight to read, especially if it is written by a legendary writer like Charles Dickens. Classics remain relevant and evergreen irrespective of the current era, as they consist of characters that possess personalities that still exist in present times. Anyone can easily relate to this story because rude and cruel people like Scrooge are not hard to find. We all are here on this planet for a very limited time. So why not live that time in the best way possible. This novel has a very important lesson, either you can be happy in the time you have in your life or you can be Ebenezer Scrooge and die alone. This lesson is given to the reader by providing an interesting premise using ghosts and Christmas time as effectively as possible. The characters have been crafted to be comical while giving wisdom in small granules. This provides for a joyful and enlightening experience.
