Are you ready to explore the post-apocalyptic world of The Wasted Lands, but without the hassle of owning NFT Warriors? The Wasted Lands introduce the newest addition: Free To Play Mode, where you can experience the thrill of the game without any NFT Warriors.

Summary

The Wasted Lands has introduced a new mode called “Free to Play.” This mode replaces the previous “Trial Play” mode. The Free to Play mode is open to all users and does not require users to own an NFT Warrior to participate. Players can now enjoy the game without needing to purchase anything, making it accessible to a broader audience.

With the introduction of our “Free to Play” mode, we are excited to offer all players the chance to jump into The Wasted Lands and earn WAS tokens and in-game items without the need to own any NFTs. This means that everyone can now play for fun and earn rewards easily. In addition, the WAS tokens and items you acquire from the “Free to Play” mode can be used to upgrade your artifact and warrior for the “Play & Earn” mode in the Tournament.

B. Login Method

To participate in the Free to Play mode, users have two options:

Option 1: Enter the game directly without creating an account as a guest.

Option 2: Log in to the user’s existing account.

C. Faction/Warrior

In the Free to Play mode, users can choose one of the three factions in the game: Hybrid, Survivor, or Ex-Company. After selecting a faction, users will receive three warriors belonging to that faction.

By offering a Free to Play mode, we aim to provide the maximum opportunity for all players to experience the game’s characters before deciding to purchase NFTs and join the Tournament to earn rewards.

The three warriors for each faction will always be fixed:

Three warriors will correspond to the three classes of the game: Attacker, Tanker, and Supporter.
All parts of the warriors will be Mystic
Each warrior’s parts will have the same class and faction
All three warriors will start at level 1.

Important note
Users will not be able to use NFT warriors in the F2P mode.
Warriors in the F2P mode cannot be used in the P2E mode. With these restrictions, players can still enjoy the game and build their skills and abilities through the F2P mode.

D. Gameplay and Reward

In Free to play mode, there will only be PvE mode.
PvE will consist of 30 levels, with the difficulty and rewards adjusted to suit Free to play mode.
Users can earn Artifact NFTs and WAS while playing PvE.
Artifacts will only be rewarded three times when the user clears Level 15, Level 25, and Level 30.

E. Progress

In F2P mode, PvE will not have the Sweep and Auto Battle features.
Currently, PvE does not have Daily Quests.

F. Inventory and Artifact

Your Inventory and Artifacts will be shared and used between the F2P and P2E modes.

G. Account

When you log in The Wasted Lands game with Free to play mode, there will be two options for joining: Log in with your registered account (Play to earn account) or log in with Guest mode.

If you already have a Play to earn account, you can use your available P2E account to play in the F2P mode. This means users can use the same account to participate in both F2P and P2E modes
Each account can only be linked to one wallet, and you must link your account to a Metamask wallet to exchange Artifact NFTs
If you do not use your registered account and use a guest account instead, you won’t be able to exchange Artifact NFTs between P2E and F2P mode.

Attention: Please note that if you use Guest Login, your progress will only be saved based on your device’s IP, and you’ll need to delete and re-download the app to start over.
