Yesterday, Floyd Mayweather beat Conor McGregor in one of the greatest spectacles in sports history. Here to discuss the fight of our lifetime are Sean Joseph Watson and Harry P. Chavez.

Chavez: What a fight! The unbeatable Floyd Mayweather wasn’t the only winner last night, minorities and oppressed communities also achieved victory. Conor McGregor represented everything degrading and oppressive about the patriarchy. His disrespect toward a black man, and his racist slurs after the match only make his defeat even more sweet!

Watson: Where to start with McGregor? Remember that conference where he told Mayweather to “dance for me, boy?” It’s like we returned to the days of slavery, all over again. It was Charlottesville before Charlottesville happened. Have we as a nation learned nothing? And wypipo just allowed this to happen. Despite their history and “shame” over slavery, they allowed Conor McGregor to say that. To still fight. To still have a career! He shouldn’t have even been allowed in the “fookin” ring!

Chavez: I swear, I saw red when McGregor asked Mayweather to “dance for me”, and then proceeded to make the “make it rain” hand gesture! Not only was it a vile and racist statement, but it was degrading to my brothers and sisters that feed their families by working in the sex industry! Racism and slut shaming in one sentence, if that’s not typically patriarchal, I don’t know what is!

Watson: Throughout all this, as he has for all of his career, Mayweather has risen above such racist antics. Furthermore, throughout the year, he stood tall against the white patriarchy. With all this being said, how could you say that McGregor is your choice? You got to be a really fucking racist, sexist asshole to root for McGregor over a man like Floyd Mayweather.

Chavez: Mayweather went from nothing to being the highest paid sportsman, ever! How nice it is to say that about a black man! He had to brave those false allegations of domestic violence, a common tactic of wypipo, along with all the other obstacles put in front of every other black body trying to make it in Amerikkka!

Watson: And when all that failed to keep The Money Team down, what did the yt’s do? Amerikkka unleashed the most evil weapon in the white patriarchy arsenal on Floyd Mayweather: The IRS!

Chavez: There was a day when I was surprised by the dastardly machinations of the white race, but that day has long since passed. Just when a black man achieves wealth and fame, the patriarchy sics the dog that is the IRS on them. Just like how police dogs were unleashed on the marchers in Birmingham while they fought for their civil rights!

Watson: Speaking of dogs, did you see how McGregor fought Mayweather last night? So many illegal punches! So many punches to the back of the head! Figures that white people don’t play by the rules. Rules that THEY created. In a system THEY designed and THEY rigged for THEIR benefit against women and people of color and LGBTQIA2S++.

Chavez: Truly a shameful display! They create the rules that keep us in bondage, and then flaunt how they break them at will! Mayweather’s ability to overcome such blatant cheating just shows what an impressive and unyielding person he is. I could not believe how the ref, also a POC, let those illegal punches fly. He must be a big fan of Ben Carson, a fellow Uncle Tom!

Watson: What can you expect from someone named “Robert Byrd”! A man who shares a name with a US Senator who was also a member of the KKK. I am absolutely appalled that they allowed such a man to be the referee! In light of recent events in Charlottesville, how could Showtime allow this to happen? Why couldn’t they show the same sound and woke judgement that ESPN displayed in their decision regarding the UVA game?

Chavez: It just goes to show how the siren song of the patriarchy can even lure a POC to be racist against their own race, a real life Uncle Ruckus. Thankfully he got his head screwed on straight and let Mayweather sneak in a little jab after the bell at the end of the 4th round! His decision to call the match was somewhat questionable though… I was rather enjoying watching on as Mayweather beat the ever-loving fuck out of a white man. How many proud black brothers and sisters must have jumped for joy at the sight of McGregor getting wobbly while Mayweather was slowly turning out the lights with each punch!

Watson: By the 8th round you could see Conor McGregor getting dramatically more wobbly and tired. He should’ve worked on his cardio before getting into the ring with someone like Mayweather. I’m shocked he didn’t prepare for that; this is boxing, after all, not MMA. Perhaps if he studied the ways of his native Riverdancers more, he could’ve lasted all 12 rounds?

Chavez: It sure looked like he had had a few Guinnesses by the end! I hope he realizes that his white privilege is the only reason he didn’t get beaten to death last night!

Watson: That referee decided protecting white privilege personified was more important than advancing the cause against racism. That ref should’ve let McGregor continue to get his ass beat! It would’ve been great to use as memes against the 4Chan alt right crowd! Speaking of which, I wish I got to see the faces of all those hooligans that packed Las Vegas for the fight!

Chavez: Sean, I don’t know about you, but I went to bed with a smile on my face!

Watson: I went to sleep with so many woke feels! So many woke feels! To see the white racist sexist homophobic transphobic fascist patriarchy get smashed in the face harder than Richard Spencer was just, magnifico. I drank so much white tears today, Harry. So much. And I still got plenty in the fridge! 👌

We hope you enjoyed our play-by-play of triumph of Floyd Mayweather against the Fascists. It was truly a victory for all oppressed people!
