We Watched Megyn Kelly’s Interview of Alex Jones so You Don’t Have To

Controversy surrounded tonight’s interview of Alex Jones on Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly. We watched this interview and summarized and reviewed it so you don’t have to worry about seeing it!

Chavez: This interview was extremely problematic, I think the fact that the local NBC affiliate in Sandy Hook refused to air the interview speaks for itself!

Watson: Even Alex Jones did not want this to air due to the lies and misinformation from the “MSM”!

Chavez: I think Megyn made a strong move by bringing up Alex’s comments on the Ariana Grande concert right out of the gate, especially mentioning his labeling of the victims as “trendies”… the young girls that died that day could have been a future president, or they might have cured cancer

Watson: Or they might lead the future feminist #resistance our world so desperately needs!

Chavez: It was definitely a tragic loss! Megyn really hit home when she then achieved the “one-two punch” of labeling Alex Jones as the extreme fringe theorist that he is, and then tied him right to the Liar in chief, Drumpf himself!

Watson: Trump! Of course Trump went on his show praising Alex Jones and even cites him as a news source in documents! Fake prez using fake news! Sad! Trump cites a man who thinks Sandy Hook was an inside job and promoted Pizzagate!

Chavez: The amount of access this man has to the president is appalling! The fact that the leader of the free world is using the reporting from a fringe lunatic as the basis of his speeches should be an impeachable offense!

Watson: Citing articles from Infowars as facts should be counted as obstruction of justice! It is perjury! There’s a reason he lost that lawsuit from Chobani Yogurt!

Chavez: Sad theories and ranting from a man who was deemed unfit to look after his own daughter!

Watson: I’m glad Megyn Kelly would not let him get away with dodging what he said about Sandy Hook and Chobani. The outright refusal of Alex Jones to apologize and admit he is wrong is almost Trumpian in arrogance!

Chavez: His replies were rambling, almost unintelligible!

ALEX JONES: No, that’s — yeah, no, no. The media misrepresenting and clipping that the way you did. I got home at, like, 6:00, heard about it. The ages of the victims weren’t even known. But they were saying it was jihadi. And I said, “How crazy is it that liberal trendies are now the victims?”

Chavez: What is this madman even saying? It’s the stream of consciousness of a man in dire need of psychological help, who sees enemies around every turn!

Watson: I wonder if he’s going to say that Megyn Kelly misrepresented him by showing that segment! “Liberal trendies” or not, children or adult, these were victims of toxic masculinity!

Chavez: And his unwillingness to admit how many times he’s spoken to Trump just shows how toxic he knows he is! You’d think that one would want to boast and brag about how many times you’ve spoken to the President of the United States… but not Alex! He’s so secretive, what else is he hiding?

Watson: He’s being more secretive than Trump is about his Russian connections! What else are we going to find out about Alex Jones? We already know how strict the journalistic rigueur is at Infowars. Did you see that bit with that stoner-looking guy? Owen Shroyer?

Chavez: Ah yes, the self described “Cuck Destroyer”! Another Milo Yiannopoulos-style agitator!

OWEN SHROYER: I wake up. I look at the news. I pray. I rarely get directed from Alex or my boss. They pretty much just leave it up to me.

Watson: The way he described his routine just shows you the farce his newsroom actually is! He can just cover what he wants? That is like worse than white allyship!

Chavez: You can tell that those people don’t have the support of the mainstream of their parties… they’re just tokens to try to make a group of old white men seem more inclusive!

Watson: Clearly meant to increase appeal to white frat boys who are wary of the Republican stance on marijuana but are okay with the implicit racism, sexism, and homophobia of their party! I’m sure Alex Jones’ ads for his super male vitality and other goods that Megyn Kelly spotlighted helps as well!

Chavez: It is breathtaking how much money Alex Jones is spending on his paper mache media empire! $45 to $50 million dollars a year! This is money earned by suckering hardworking people in return for snake oil, or worse! Spending money on something from Alex Jones… you might as well light your money on fire!

Watson: I would go further and say you should be arrested for funding a criminal organization! An organization whose work leads to terrorism and patriarchal discrimination!

Chavez: He is a “regressive” in the truest sense of the word! He’d rather drag society back into its even more bigoted and hate-filled past, than continue working toward the inclusive and loving society that President Obama envisioned!

Watson: And you know who else failed to do this? Megyn Kelly! Where was that moment we all waited for where she calls out Alex Jones on his racism, his sexism, his Islamophobia, his ableism, his fat-shaming? Where was that? The fact that she did not do this reflects a systemic and institutionalized failure to fulfill her journalistic duties! I couldn’t help but feel so disgusted with her afterward.

Chavez: Megyn landed some good shots, exposing that Nazi for who he is! Yet, she seemed to let him ramble on and weasel out of answering the truly tough questions! I think her exposing how much access he has to the most powerful man in the world, Drumpf, was one of the most interesting and horrifying revelations she pulled from him! There is no safe space if this man is whispering into the President’s ear!

Watson: And that part at the end about the letter to Trump supporters using an Infowars link. Dark times ahead for this country!
