Saying goodbye is never easy: Original key player in OBXToday.com bids farewell, teases new beginnings
On behalf of the former staff at OBXToday.com we wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your many years of support. Your support through reading OBXToday.com, following us on our socials, advertising with us, partnering with us to promote your non-profit and community events along with participating in our giveaways and contests including Best of the Beach.
Helping build up OBXToday.com and representing OBX Today over the years has given me great satisfaction. I love being a part of this community and of course trying to make a positive impact on the daily. Since 2019, having OBXToday.com as a platform has given me that chance to make a difference. As they say though, all good things must come to an end, and that will be the case with my working relationship with OBXToday.com.
As of December 2, 2024, please let it be known that I, Lisa Brickhouse Davis, along with my colleagues Janet Arnold, Michelle Quimby Johnson, and Kassidy Watson-Perry will have no further affiliation OBXToday.com. It saddens me to see this good thing come to an end, but then again we do know that when one door closes (due to circumstances out of your control) that a new, better, and bigger door is right there ready to open. So as sad as it is to have to say goodbye and let OBXToday.com go, I know that it’s all meant to be as I can tell you that fresh, new things are on the horizon.
In the next few weeks you will be hearing some good news about “the new kid in town”… The Wright Sound LLC. Along with Lisa, Janet, Michelle, and Kassidy, you will probably recognize a cast of broadcasting characters from the past. Stay tuned for great new opportunities coming just for you!
