We’ve taken in tons of feedback and reimagined various aspects of the app to make the experience even better. To help jump into discussions quickly, we’ve made it possible to simply tap a card from the home page and jump right in. We’ve cleaned up the interface and removed superfluous elements. The camera view has been completely reimagined and the post view redesigned to make it quicker and easier to share what’s happening around you. And we’ve made the discussions view larger and with more information to make it easier to find what you want to find. You’ll find this version of the app to be faster, cleaner, and more enjoyable all around.

In addition, we’re really excited to announce Yeti Topics! In the past all the discussions you saw were hyper-local and user-generated (which has been extremely engaging). The problem is, it’s difficult to re-target the best stuff for you. If you like the outdoors or coffee shops, we want to be able to recommend those topics for you. With Yeti Topics, we’ve created 200+ topics that range from sushi to skydiving, basketball to shopping, and with every swipe our algorithms get smarter at recommending the most relevant discussions for you.

To give it a try, simply open Yeti and start swiping. You will see Yeti Topics mixed in with local discussions. By swiping right or left on these topics, you help Yeti find more relevant discussions for you.
