When it comes to our thoughts, many of us worry or fixate on the wrong things. We consume so much information in a day that it becomes hard to weed out what is beneficial and what is hindering our growth.
Like many of us, we tend to focus on the experiences, the situations, or certain aspects of our lives that do not serve us on our journey. We tend to let the negatives overrule the positives because the bad things tend to have much more supportive momentum; BUT, there are ALWAYS more things to be grateful about than not, don’t let the negative momentum that you are trapped in fool you.
However, good news is here! I am here to tell you the ONLY three things you need to mentally focus on every day to live the life you envision.
1. Focus On Positive Thoughts Of Gratitude.
When you practice gratitude, you automatically put yourself in the mode to receive more abundance and blessings. When you can find the beauty in any situation, you are directing yourself towards more positivity. The Law of Attraction is a universal law that states, “when you allow yourself to see the good in any bad, the positive in any negative, the light in any darkness, those very things will be in search of you.” Let me let you in on a little secret, contrast or things that don’t seem to go your way, will ALWAYS yield to a good thing because it is helping you to expand more on what you want, helping you to evolve as a person, and redirecting you to something greater.
2. Focus On The Things You Want Out Of Life.
You may be thinking, “How can I focus on the things I want in life, if I am dealing with so many things that I don’t want at the moment?” This is a valid point; however, this is where faith becomes your best friend. A lot of us only like to focus where we can see, and when our current reality isn’t pleasing it feels impossible to focus on anything other than the catastrophe of our present world. You must train your mind to look away from the problems to solve them, meaning, if there is an area in your life that you wish to change, by focusing on that problem area, you are only giving more momentum to that issue; you are not diffusing it. The more you focus on what you want, the more that positive energy will flow naturally into the other areas in need of improving.
3. Focus On The Necessary Action Needed To Achieve The Things You Desire.
Our culture is so action-based, so this is where many of us can thrive to see results; however, you need to have faith in conjunction because the change won’t happen overnight. We love to put in the work physically because it makes us feel accomplished, but you need to put in the spiritual work as well; this comes from strengthening your mentality with faith and new belief systems. Divert your actions out of love and with every action, ask yourself “How is this helping me get closer to the things I want out of life?” Start questioning yourself and the moves your making, and really reflect if they are empowering or disempowering your focus.
If there is one last piece of advice for welcoming abundance into your life, the secret is to believe that your life can transform, before you look to take physical action. You must believe it mentally and feel it emotionally, before your actions can align with what you desire, and that tends to be the hardest part for most.
