Thank you Shannon. I feel it is important that woman be able to relate to sex as a physical pleasure. Woman themselves, in my experience, are among the most powerful advocates for the idea that sex is an emotional act and not a physical act, hence the saying “If you want to turn me on down here [vagina], turn me on up here [brain]”. And in that truth, there is something to the idea that men have physiological drivers for sex, so that Christian website is not totally wrong? If your point it women do too, great, but clearly many women are disturbed by the male “obsession” with sex. As a physical pleasure, sex, like any other physical pleasure — drugs, alcohol, emotional eating — can be something that gets out of hand, so to speak. This is what I suspect religions all over the world, not just Christianity, are trying to guard against. I look forward to you being comfortable discussing any aspect of your sexuality, physical or emotional.

Third Act

Awakening, discovering who I am, reinventing myself. Childhood, marriage, and now post-separation/divorce. It is my third act. My best act so far.
