Welcoming 2018, Tenqyu for 2017

For us at Tenqyu, every year is an opportunity to learn, grow, and inspire. The last year has not been different. We can report now the results of an amazing 2017.

Truly, we are grateful for the trust and support of you, our customers, partners, and friends who have worked with us throughout this year. Thank you!

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make a difference in more ways than one. Thank you for a whirlwind of a journey.

Here’s a look back at some of the memorable moments in our collective journey!

Our Journey in 2017

Drop!in, our machine learning enabled “nearby events happening now” app that is btw competing with “Facebook Local”, is unsurprisingly performing really well. At the end of 2017, we had cumulative 3 million events on the one of the largest integrated event data platforms on this planet. This provides us with a formidable basis for developing an even better event recommendation engine.

Users from all over the planet, with a large focus on the United States of America, found hours of new experiences, met new people, and learned new skills using drop!in. We observed a 40-fold increase year on year of unique API requests to almost 500,000. Boom! That’s what we wanted to see.

Inspire
Our achievements in 2017 just sets the stage for an even better 2018. We are confident that the year ahead holds plenty of opportunities.

For 2018, We are planning to further fine-tune our machine learning algorithms to even more support YOUR real-life-journey towards better event experiences. We are looking forward to meet more of you at the events we regularly attend here in Singapore and aim to build a community that inspires us to change and interact face-to-face and in real live rather than through social media means.

I believe this is worth fighting for!
