there are those faces which have disappeared from my mind over time, hundreds of memories lost to me.

however, there are also faces which linger, associative smells and sounds, sometimes catching me off-guard. in those moments i am exposed to the world, mustering up strength of composure, wondering if the world has truly seen me.
