Here’s 5 reasons why I won’t watch this movie until its on TBS late at night in four years. None of them involve the actors because I think McCarthy and Wiig are great.

1. I’ve seen both trailers a couple times. I’m sorry, it just doesn’t look well done. The scene where Melissa McCarthy was punching the ghosts with that fist pack device was the deal breaker. Its going to be that over the top Charlie’s Angels fighting sequences, isn’t it?
2. I hate remakes, especially of classics. Just stop.
3. Bill Murray is in the cast as “ Martin Heiss” not “Dr. Peter Venkman”. That tells me Bill knew the movie was going to be trash and didn’t want anything to do with it until they threw enough money at him.
4. Its currently a 3.8 on IMDB.
5. This feels eerily familiar to articles that came out about Batman vs Superman. Initial reviews before release felt forced to tell you how good it actually was. Then once the movie came out everyone’s response was “ehh…it was okay I guess.”
