He was not taking care of his children, he was objectively a shitty dad. Arrested 25 times, 5 different baby mamas, he was even allegedly a gang member. That is not being a good dad. Being in a gang and being a dad should be mutually exclusive he puts his entire extended family at risk. To top it off 25k of child support when he was stealing and gangbanging for extra cash is just objectively shitty parenting, especially since the child support valuation is based on his income. That means he was wasting his own money on frivolous garbage like gold teeth rather than a life for his kids. It’s not like the police are supposed to collect debt, but trying to go with the narrative “Sterling was a father” when he clearly was shit at it, is not the way to do it.
