You’ve got a microphone, you’re going live and everything you say, every sound you make will be heard by thousands watching that game! Hey, it’s a tough job but somebody’s gotta do it. Here are 10 sports announcer bloopers that will make you think twice about grabbing that microphone in front of a crowd.

1. Is That Microphone On?

Hockey announcers Bob Kaser and Larry Figurski have their own private conversation completely unaware that they’re back on the air. Their reactions are priceless and check out how quickly their faces turn red in embarrassment!

2. The F-Bomb

Frustration ensues when these sports commentators encounter technical difficulties. The inevitable F-Bomb is released by Lee Corso when technical difficulties prevented Rocket Ismail from speaking into the mic!

3. Minor Adjustments

Mike Ditka may not have been the center of attention but he did manage to grab (no pun intended) our attention with the little pants adjustment he made.

Sideline reporter Christine Nubla tries to talk about the Clippers’ dribble penetration. She was doing really great until she got just a little bit confused with ‘dribble’ and ‘double’. Oopps!

8. Hoarse Over Horses

The horses may have made it through to the finishing line but I highly doubt the commentator did. But hey, at least he acknowledged it!

9. We Need Back Up

She may have stumbled over her words but her co-anchor managed to save the day! Until she completely forgot her mic was still on.

10. A Really Really Bad Day

I started cringing within the first 5 seconds of the video. I doubt you can last even a minute into this video without feeling really sorry or frustrated with this sports newscaster.
