Here’s What a “Me-ternity” Leave Should Really Look Like

I appreciate that being a mom isn’t all fun and games, but it IS the opportunity to do something other than work with your life. Contribute to something more meaningful than just your work, and that is perhaps where the idea of a meternity leave is valuable.

If we’re assuming that most women in their twenties/thirties will take two maternity leaves, then companies might as well budget for it and let non-mothers take time off to focus on building something else that is meaningful for their lives
