According to the NY Post, there are reports that Meghan Markle was faking the podcast. Reportedly, the interviews were not done by her but by her staff members and then Meghan’s voice was added later.

These reports came after the couple was blasted by Spotify’s executive Bill Simmons as “lazy grifters” just days ago. The Duchess was paid millions, according to reports indicating a whopping $20 million in a three-year deal.

For that self-proclaimed “workaholic” Meghan has given Spotify, Twelve episodes, even the Mexicans (known for their hard work) don’t work that hard and are seemingly now jealous of Meghan. One Latina user said on Twitter, “If everybody worked like Meghan, where would the country be?” To that one user replied, “Nothing would ever get done” (clearly meant as sarcasm, it seemed they were praising her) After the NY Post article, Twitter erupted after finding out that Meghan was faking the podcast.

To which Meghan’s PR rep quickly gave a statement. “Yes, the reports are true. Meghan indeed faked some of the episodes only because she is already working hard. It’s hard to fit everything into a one-hour-a-week schedule. She is a workaholic, and she goes through hell working one hour a week! Can you imagine how hard it is to work one hour a week? It’s gruelling, which is why it is necessary to delegate and take credit for everybody’s work! She should be given awards for this and I believe she is rightfully a role model for excellence, hard work, and relentless work!”

At the time of the publication, Meghan’s PR rep is demanding an apology from Spotify and the public for undermining and being inconsiderate of Meghan’s (occasional one-hour-a-week grueling work schedule) while Prince Harry is complaining about how he is unable to find things to complain about.
