Freedom lab

“we are all free to do whatever we want to do” — Richard Bach

Location: everywhere

What is the future you want to create?

#Inotice that most beings seem to act in ways, as if they are highly constrained. Many express desire to be free (of this or that) but few seem to experience freedom and to live freely.

#Iwonder what it will look like when everyone realizes that we are all free to do whatever we want to do.

Until then, I’m playing with all assumptions, fabricating new beliefs, sharing myself and inviting people to reflect on their own experience, assumptions and beliefs.

How do you track progress?

I don’t subscribe to the assumption that measuring progress affects the outcome, however, I understand that this is a widely held belief. I’m not terribly concerned with the outcome either.

To me it’s like measuring how fast a flower grows. It’s possible with a simple ruler. But when October comes around it hardly matters. I’m not convinced that time is linear, even though that’s also a popular belief.

How are you doing so far?

Couldn’t be better. Wouldn’t change a thing. I wrote it like this. Ask me again tomorrow or yesterday. Maybe the answer is different. #Inotice that I frequently find myself in love. Sometimes #Iwonder why. Mostly I merely appreciate it.

What are you NOT doing?

I have stopped worrying. I’m also not really trying to recruit people for anything or to pursuade anyone.

What have you learned so far?

In a complex system a small change can have a huge effect. Baking bread is something I want to do.

How can you help others?

It depends on what help they think they need. I’m not convinced that the assumption that anyone needs any help is particularly useful. But it’s certainly popular amongst people who want to view themselves as helpers.

What help do you need?

I would rather ask you back: if you feel compelled to offer me help, what help do yo want to offer? And, perhaps, why do you think that is? Who do you think that you are you actually helping?

You are always welcome to reach out. Just send me a text message or WhatsApp +1.347.987.5098

I generally post progress all over the internet but @thnkclrly on instagram, thnkclrly.com and here on Medium are good places.
