A quiet collection of thoughts for a quiet collection of people.

As I have entered the workforce I have noticed a lack of focus on philosophy. in the rush of young men to validate themselves I find myself caught up investing in things that benefit me in a month, or payout in nine months.

I feel sometimes like I am slipping away from “us” and our driven behavior to make more than just money in this world. This is my solution.

Are we thinking 10 years out?

Are we moving in a collective direction or are we succumbing to the fracturing effects of careers and lives. If we are just learning for the payout in nine months, I think we end up building extensions of value; shadows of what the truly great actually built.

Is your newsfeed wise?

We are the average of our news feed. I spin in circles all day, reading all sorts of different things withdrawing myself from others to learn learn learn…but when push comes to shove after Leo and I went through whatever that was, I learned I was severely lacking in wisdom.

Enter, Hush Baby.

What is it?

It’s a selfish tool. For me. It’s a tool to allow “us” to stay collectively focused by documenting our discoveries in one place.

What does it do?

Simply, anonymously allow us to share information (links or otherwise) which is available publicly on the website.

Why?

It’s a breeding ground for revolutionary ideas…until it is not. That is what is interesting about this experiment. You see, I will invite the wisest people around me but because it is anonymous you don’t really know who is posting. The IP is listed, but other then that, everything is encrypted and unlocked only when (or if) the author decides to share their story.

We decide how good the content stays by determining who to tell about it.

Whistleblowers

We all believe the current “system” is faltering. For me, I feel we are in the age of Rome and so would like to have a place for safely keeping ideas. That’s why you can submit content and then provide the key to unlock content whenever you want. Until you do, it’s just a long HEX.

In this way, you could put secrets safely on Hush Baby until you are ready to share. Or can offer others the key to share should anything happen to you. It’s more important then you think, for a time you don’t think could happen.
