Well, that’s one way to hand over a brand new virus or malware that was written during flight if the device is accessed via SW, not sure what they are thinking to accomplish here other then trying to scare people. And then imagine some real bad guy is clever enough to hide vital/devastating data in a pacemaker or other life sustaining equipment, then what? Force the person to shut it off? I’ve said after 9/11 and I’ll say it again, the people who make these kind of “security” decisions have no imagination and seem to forget that every piece of code written by a human can be altered by a smarter human…..but hey, it’s one way to isolate your country, Unbelievable!
