From what I can tell you’re basically reciting Democrat propaganda talking points that only matter to people who already hate Trump but want to have a reason other than “he’s threatening my personal interests!”
1. He betrayed the Kurds, compromising American geopolitical credibility.
Why should I care about the Kurds? They aren’t a country. They don’t have a formal government or state. The Kurds Trump “betrayed” are simply a group of mercenaries/rebels/nationalists trying to exploit U.S. entanglements in Iraq, Syria and Turkey.
2. He solicited interference in the election from China and Ukraine, a felony.
I don’t care about “election interference” that isn’t about changing vote-counts. Everything is election interference. It’s a joke to suggest that some things that Trump does are “election interference” but the FBI and CIA constantly trying to set him up for prosecution, the Democrats spending years scouring the planet for anything they can impeach him on, and the media endlessly shrieking “TRUMP IS FINISHED!” every five minutes isn’t. Everything is election interference.
(For the record, all economic self-interested activity is also a “felony” if the Feds decide to go after you. It’s pretty much a fact that if the federal government wants to charge you with a felony it can, because federal criminal codes are so broad that if you do ANYTHING you’re violating some law or other. Thus, again, the establishment can make Trump or anyone it opposes a “felon” at any time).
3. He used military aid to pressure Ukraine to interfere in the US election. This has now been established through testimony of a number of witnesses.
See above. Yawn. Our government is utterly corrupt. Trump is just blatant about his self-interest, rather than playing the sneaky little incestuous nepotistic games the other politicians and media play. Nothing he’s done is anything in any way more offensive to me than run-of-the-mill politics (which probably offends me way more than it does you).
4. He permitted Iran to resume its nuclear program.
I don’t care about Iran’s nuclear program at all. Iran isn’t going to nuke us. If Iran nukes anyone it’ll be Saudi Arabia or Israel or Syria. Let those countries worry about it.
5. He permitted North Korea to resume its nuclear program.
I don’t care about North Korea’s nuclear program at all. North Korea isn’t going to nuke me; if it nukes anyone it’ll be a close neighbor, or California/Vancouver. Let them worry about that.
If you really want to talk about reasons I shouldn’t like Trump, I can give you a whole bunch — unfortunately they aren’t reasons that go away if an establishment alternative is elected. He’s a liar (obviously) he constantly pretends he’s doing a better job than he is, he pretends the stock market matters to ordinary Americans, that the employment statistics aren’t fake, that the Fed actually helps things, that the middle class has any hope at all of surviving automation and globalism without a complete and utter overhaul of our system, etc.
But I like Trump’s lip service toward nationalism, toward the idea that the U.S. should stop trying to shadow-govern the world (which only benefits the elites) and become a country that cares about its own people first. Do I think he’ll do much in this direction? No. He’s a showman. But at least he’s out in the open, and driving the elites crazy. Just having a leader talk like that is WAY better than the absurdity we’ve had in the past.
