I would modify this sentence a tiny bit: “there isn’t yet a good way to…”.

Designing governance systems for decentralized orgs is —imho — one of the key challenges in the blockchain/decentralization community. However, there is a lot of experimentation going on in the field (with an interesting overlap to the modern org approaches in companies that experiment with self-organization and new, flat governance structures).

While we haven’t figured it out yet, I’m optimistic that better ways to govern those organizations will emerge. They might not be perfectly streamlined like top-down orgs (facing their own set of challenges in some conditions, e.g. uncertain environments) but way more effective than today’s decentralized orgs.
