I assume you mean a “Pyrrhic” victory?

I meant a victory which will not help to win the war. Amazon, Apple, Google have the deep pockets to make family plans for movies as they do for music. Too early to cut those revenues for now but they will do towards end of the year. All you can eat plans as well, but they can bundle it with other services (Prime) and hardware (AppleTV, Chromecast) not alone think about blocking Netflix on their devices (as Apple TV did with AmazonVideo). Netflix is an app on other companies hardware with pricing as no USP. Original content is the only USP left then — so Netflix becomes a studio leaving the streaming service in 2018.
