Dear Humanity
Please stop the shouting.I get it. Lady on the news. Man in the subway. Student in the library. You want to matter, you want to disagree. We all have points to make. It’s maddening, really. My head feels like it is about to explode. Why do we shout? Why do we fight so fervently in the midst of imperfect information and perpetual ignorance? We attack, and so viciously, those who are ‘different’ from us. Politicians and lobbyists, reporters, celebrities, business owners, scholars and spiritualists… We are the same.Thomas Griffin1 min read
