What MBA do I mean in my writing? The Master’s of Business Administration. MBA could also mean: Master Builder Association, MacBook Air, Monterey Bay Aquarium (a favorite of mine), and many more after an acronym search. My focus is the business master’s degree.

About.com has a good start to defining the MBA and providing resources such as top colleges (this topic alone could take hours to research), financial assistance, and types of MBA degrees. About.com’s definition is, “The MBA (Master of Business Administration) is a postgraduate degree that is awarded to students who have mastered the study of business. The MBA degree is thought to be one of the most prestigious and sought after degrees in the world.”

TopMBA.com offers more resources such as scholarship advice, MBA events, a 1–2–1 personal match and meet service, and MBA jobs.

The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) website is here. The GMAT is a requirement for most business colleges for entrance.
