I appreciate your attitude. Too many “writers” want to be told how wonderful their prose is, without doing anything to earn it; and when asking for criticism mean they want praise and get bent out of shape when actually criticized. The two people who count for your writing are yourself and your reader, with the latter vastly more important than the former, or rather the former’s ego. Do you know of “Dear American Airlines” by Jonathan Miles? Anyway, if you want to show me one (1) short story (emphasis on short), I’d try to look at it. I never do this, but…call it penance for being a snark. Post it in a response, if you would.
