Pure hyperbole …We can only “wish”

Africom was running more missions to deter and bag bad guy terrorists however, since Obama pretty much neutered any operations against “Islamic Extremists” it’s been extremely difficult for Combatant Commanders to gain approval for the types of operations that were run back when the US actually had a “Policy” called the Global War on Terror. The former was stricken and banned since 2011 from even uttering those words. Even the Libya heist perpetrated while HC was Sec State was so demurred …it allowed the wholesale expansion of Islamic Extremist from varying factions with ties to AQ/ISIS, BH etc. to expand all across the continent unchecked…to this day…albeit a brief skirmish with the French ….who couldn’t even handle logistics and Intel w/o US aid …that was also severely limited by Obama. I know this to be true cause I worked on some of those mission sets and observed the cluster fuck first hand. Let’s hope a new President next year can help increase the mission set with some clear guidelines …like go back to what was working instead of sticking out head in the sand !!
