There we go again another “Cry” for justice for a Terrorists hell bent on sending Americans to their death. The key point of your story does not even address basic facts. Intelligence gathered on the battlefield was never meant for prosecutorial exposure. Many of the former GTMO detainees that have been so called “cleared for release” does not mean they were absolved of heinous crimes that was reason for their detainment in the first place. Rather its been a liberal agenda to humanize monsters that are better left to die.

The reasons these guys are released is purely Political. The reason the Government does not fight it is two-fold. 1. The intelligence connecting many of these terrorists is “highly classisfied” much of it at Top Secret level. To expose that information would endanger other lives and provide verification of our means and methods to collect that data. So under presssure of disclosure, its often left to just allow defeat at the hands of lawyers who are blind to “pure evil” staring at them from the pious detainee. 2. The current administrations goal of closing GTMO for purely political positioning. In many cases since 2008, the detainee review board recommendations from the GTMO Task-Force where re-written and scrubbed of discriminating details so the WH could sell the release to host Country to take them off our hands. All one has to do is follow the money trail…. Every single instance of a GTMO detainee released in this administration was associated with a quid-pro-quo to the host Country — often in financial remunerations in the Millions of US Tax Payers Dollars. Its really best to just let them all stay in GTMO till they die.
