MAKE OUR RELATIONSHIP GREAT AGAIN
After over a year at war with Gaza and the troubled climate of the world. The need for a steadfast ally to Israel and the Jewish people has never been more vital. True support goes beyond cultural connections or shared history — it encompasses a deep understanding of the Jewish mission, the rights of the Jewish people to their land, and an acknowledgment of the intense challenges Israel faces, both physically and ideologically. Now, more than ever, the forces against Israel are organized, fierce, and threatening.
Israel’s struggle is not merely one of survival but of historical and spiritual connection. From architectural evidence and ancient scriptures to scientific findings, Israel’s land is intertwined with Jewish identity and history, going back thousands of years. Named “Palestine” by the Romans in 135 CE as a deliberate affront to the Jewish people who had resisted their rule, the land has a Jewish legacy spanning millennia, with communities re-establishing themselves even under Ottoman and later British rule. The journey toward statehood, however, was anything but smooth. Jewish pioneers in the late 19th century laid the groundwork for a modern Jewish state, often with the backing of prominent supporters like the Rothschild family. However, they faced fierce opposition from Arab residents and broader Arab states, who viewed Jewish presence on this land as a threat to what they saw as Muslim territory.
From its inception, Israel has been targeted by powerful enemies determined to see its collapse. Many of these forces remain active today, including Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, and the Houthis in Yemen — all backed by Iran. For Iran, Israel’s destruction is part of a broader ambition to establish itself as the dominant power in the Middle East, a pursuit that threatens not only Israel but also moderate Arab states wary of Iran’s influence. Meanwhile, Israel confronts relentless ideological opponents who perpetuate anti-Israel narratives and fuel hostility toward the Jewish state.
Within this context, the Western media, academia, and even segments of the Jewish diaspora pose significant challenges. Liberal “bagel” Jews, as some call them, often approach Judaism as a cultural or historical identity without understanding the depth of the Jewish mission or the importance of a Jewish homeland. They may unintentionally fuel harmful narratives by misunderstanding the foundational issues. On a broader scale, propaganda machines in the media and academia perpetuate misrepresentations of Israel, creating widespread bias and misunderstanding.
With the U.S. election just two weeks away, the stakes for Israel could not be higher. The potential outcome will influence Israel’s ability to navigate both internal challenges and global pressures. For Israelis and Jews who value the concept of a secure homeland, this election could be pivotal. Many hope for a conservative win, seeking leadership that aligns with the complex realities of the world rather than an idealistic vision detached from Israel’s survival needs.
In these uncertain times, true support for Israel requires more than symbolic gestures; it demands a clear, unwavering commitment to the Jewish people’s right to self-determination and peace within their historic homeland.
Since the Trump administration’s concluded in 2020, America’s approach to Israel has shifted significantly, often undermining the importance Israel holds as a stabilizing force in the Middle East. Today, rather than standing as an unequivocal ally, the U.S. has, at times, leaned into open criticism and finger-pointing, ignoring the crucial role Israel plays in countering regional threats. This shift has emboldened anti-Israel sentiment in public discourse, with protests and hate-fueled rhetoric allowed to go unchecked. Terms like “woke” and “progressive” are used to justify this stance, yet the effect is a regression in moral clarity and practical support for a critical ally.
The core issue goes deeper than just foreign policy. The U.S. has moved away from shared ideals of fairness, justice, and common sense. Instead, there is an increasingly unstable “woke” faction in politics, influenced by extreme ideologies — from radical leftism to religious fanaticism — taking the reins of American policy and culture. The irony of accusing traditionalists of extremism, while caving to divisive voices on the left, reflects the dangerous imbalance in today’s political environment.
As global tensions rise and the region grows more volatile, America’s role as a staunch, supportive partner to Israel is needed now more than ever. A leader who can recognize Israel’s strategic importance and stand firmly against threats from terror-backed regimes or hostile actors could shift the tide. A firm U.S. stance on Israel’s right to defend itself and prosper doesn’t just benefit Israel; it strengthens America’s own security and contributes to global stability. In times of uncertainty, what’s good for Israel is indeed good for America — and for the entire world.
America currently stands deeply divided, and this division goes far beyond internal politics — it influences the nation’s role and impact on the global stage. The country is not merely at a crossroads; it’s pulled in two starkly opposing directions, each with contrasting visions for the future. This ideological split creates a profound instability, making it challenging for America to lead decisively or to act with the clarity and unity necessary in a complex world.
As a result, this division can lead to choices that may favor adversaries rather than allies, or policies that may unintentionally harm the economy rather than strengthen it. The lack of coherence in U.S. strategy risks weakening not just America’s global influence, but also the stability of the regions where American leadership is most needed. In areas like the Middle East, where dependable alliances are critical, America’s internal rift sends mixed signals, potentially emboldening hostile actors and leaving allies uncertain of U.S. commitment.
The “woke” movement and the current political establishment have become a liability, eroding the credibility of the Democratic Party. The center, once a grounding force, is now overshadowed, with voices of extremism and instability dominating the conversation. Reason and balanced dialogue have been pushed aside, replaced by divisive narratives that distance the party from the everyday concerns of many Americans.
The choices made in the coming years will have a lasting impact, not only domestically but on the entire world order. At a time when nations look to America as a cornerstone of stability, a divided approach leaves both friends and foes questioning what America truly stands for. The need for a unified vision, one that can bridge divides and prioritize both national and international stability, has never been more pressing. A stable America is essential for a stable world, and finding common ground may be the key to ensuring that America’s influence remains a force for good.
This election is critical, especially given the uncertain times we face. Israel, more than ever, needs a steadfast and dependable ally, and the Jewish community — along with those who value stability and common sense worldwide — hopes to see strong leadership prevail. We need leaders who truly understand the significance of the U.S.-Israel relationship and won’t abandon Israel for political gain or short-term popularity. A firm commitment to this alliance is not just about supporting one nation; it’s about promoting global stability and standing against the forces that threaten peace.
Israel stands as one of the few nations actively countering terrorism, yet it often receives more criticism than praise for its tenacity and unwavering will to live. Meanwhile, countries like France, England, and Sweden are grappling with growing threats within their own borders. Extremism has already reached their shores, and without decisive action, it will engulf those who choose complacency.
The resurgence of ancient, deeply rooted antisemitic hatred is distressingly clear. Instead of acknowledging Israel’s ongoing fight for survival, many ignore the brutal truth — that on October 7, 2023, Israel’s enemies brazenly murdered 1,200 innocent civilians, revealing their longstanding ambitions. Gaza and Lebanon harbor terror organizations with arsenals rivaling regional armies, and these groups have been plotting attacks for years. Their intentions are clear, yet Israel faces condemnation while chants of “from the river to the sea” echo around the world.
This blind indifference comes at a steep cost. Failing to stand with Israel against extremism is not just a betrayal of the Jewish people; it’s a dangerous gamble that allows extremism to grow unchecked. The world will one day feel the consequences of ignoring this threat, and those who believe they are safe in their isolated bubbles will come to realize how fragile that illusion truly is.
I hold onto the hope that, even if the coming US administration veers towards false promises and misguided accusations, Israel will continue to stand strong. My dream is to see a time when we can truly make the world great again, time and time again, by embracing truth, resilience, and unity against dominance and oppression.
