Tap “J” to Start Fresh From Anywhere

I was recently working on understanding Game Theory by researching on Google and noticed at the bottom (using my IPad) that there was a highlight by the “G” in the middle. In the caption bubble it said, “Tap G to start fresh from anywhere”. That really struck me as kinda neat and somewhat appropriate for Google.

Google has really helped us as a society seeking information to find anything and everything we can. They’ve really organized things in such a way to make it easy and user friendly for anyone to get anything they want to know at the touch, or in this case, at the tap of a button. However, sometimes while swimming, or attempting to swim, in the this pool of information we can get lost…a lot like we can in life.

Sometimes, just like with a Google search, we can get so deep into things that we lose our way. That’s why tapping the “J” button or “Jesus” button is so necessary for us. Even the most mature believer gets lost from time to time. It’s easy to do and we should never feel guilty or alone in this. In fact, Jesus shared a way for us to find Him when we do get lost or we feel burdened, bogged down by life…

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” — Matthew 11:28–30

Are you lost? Do you feel bogged down by life right now? Overwhelmed? Pray this prayer with I me if so…

Jesus, I feel so lost right now. I don’t know what to do or which direction to go. I can’t do this alone. Please help me. Show me your love in real ways. Give me direction so I know which way to go. I trust you Lord. Amen.

Now, turn off your phone, computer, tablet or however you’re reading this and go. That’s right, you have to start somewhere. I know it’s not easy, but guess what? You’ve just tapped the Jesus button and now you can start fresh. It doesn’t matter where you are, you can always start fresh with Jesus…from anywhere.
