Hipster invasion

Despite being from the era of the “swagfag” I have somehow survived without using the phrase ‘YOLO’ or ‘#’, with the exception of mocking. I find the whole lifestyle of being hipster an utterly confusing and a derogatory act of being unique. Infact the term ‘indie’ has now become so ironic i can’t even begin to understand it. I can understand that everybody is entitled to their own unique look and many chose the ‘hipster look’ but I cannot let it continue without having at least one internet rage. Just to be clear I am not raging at the look in general but the whole attitude of ‘fucking the system’ with their overly confusing irony in which we’re not even sure if they’re mocking or agreeing with it in a sarcastic tone or something too deep for a sane individual to understand.

As I know the hipster look/attitude is extremely popular and if anybody does stumble upon this article they will immediately dismiss or disagree with it, however, there must be others out there utterly shameful to live in the generation that includes Justin Bieber, One Direction, The Wanted, The Vamps, Nicki Minaj etc. I mean what happened to the generations who would rock out in their room to Metallica, Iron Maiden, Pantera, Limp Bizkit, Avenged Sevenfold and so many other fucking awesome bands!!??
