Day 15

Good morning to you and Happy Tuesday. It has just gone 12 and I think your insides are screaming for a good meal by now. I have to admit that since I was given antibiotics, I have had to eat something — even yesterday. It’s not really about the tummy lining, as much as it is about having a carrier for the medicine to get into your system. I asked the chemist if I was allowed to fast and he said that this is not much of an issue. The concern was that nutrients are spread into your system through the food that we consume. — Lesson learned

A few of us you/us have been expressing how tough it is to survive on NO food for so long. I would suggest that you enjoy the discomfort of not eating and allow your tummy to grumble a bit. Self-discipline is an ever waning commodity in this instant gratification world of ours. Even if the health benefits were not as amazing as previously outlined, I would still challenge you to seek the discomfort. When we lean into discomfort, we arrive at a place where we are no longer bent on avoiding the discomfort. This enables us to seek out other challenging situations, and take them on. Let’s be honest… when last was something awesome achieved from a place of total comfort.

I placed myself into an uncomfortable spot, by trying to impart some structure into what this Challenge is about.

I have prepared a CONTENT SPREADSHEET (click the link to view) which I would dearly like you to have a look at. Click the link…

Please see it as a learning tool, but tell me this….

Is it useful to you?

What would you change?

Does it help you as a reference point?

Would you like to see a different lay-out?

If you feel that walking into a gym is a scary undertaking, then know that this is also quite an unnerving project for me, and I would ask you to please pop me a little comment re the spreadsheet…

Tomorrow, we talk about the 3 phases of this program, and how things will be adjusted as we go along…
