Updating Thortspace to version 1.5(.x)
Thortspace has App versions for 5 operating systems: Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS (iPads and iPhones)
You can check your Thortspace App version number by choosing “About” from the centre menu items:

It is important if you are collaborating or using Thortspace cloud services to have updated your Thortspace App to at least 1.5.something. Below is how to do this on each of the 5 operating system platforms which Thortspace currently supports.
Windows
If you start your Thortspace app and leave it running for about half an hour and then restart the App, it should update automatically.
Alternatively, or if it doesn’t, you can download the latest installer from here: https://www.thortspace.com/Update/Windows/MG/Setup.exe and simply run the installer. That will replace your existing Windows Thortspace installation with the latest version. If you use the Thortspace App in its “logged-in” way of working (ie. connected to the Thortspace cloud services), that will not be affected — you will still be logged in, just as you were, after the update is applied.
Mac
The Mac App Store should alert you that there are updates to install, and offer to update your Thortspace version. Click the prompt to open the Mac AppStore application. Then choose “Updates” and click the “Update” button.

Linux
Download the latest Linux version from here: https://www.thortspace.com/Update/Linux/thortspace-1.5.3.tar.bz2

Android
The Google Android Playstore is probably the most reliable of any of the OS platforms at automatically applying updates. Check that your Thortspace App has been updated to at least 1.5.something and you are good to go.

You will be aware that your device prompts you with App updates, so you just need to accept the update for Thortspace when it is offered to you.
