The true potential of Bitcoin

There’s still a long road ahead.

All the craziness about Bitcoin can easily cover up its true potential. There’s a great podcast episode with Andreas M. Antonopoulos, who is the author of Mastering Bitcoin (the book is more geared towards developers and is available for free on github).

For me, the most important topics in the podcast are:

• How Bitcoin decentralizes power and control
• When Bitcoin will exceed Visa for consumer transactions
• Can Bitcoin transition to micro-streaming payments
• Re-Dezentralize the web — payments were on of the main drivers of web centralization and Bitcoin can fundamentally change that
