Yes, it really did happen.

Remember that ThriveAgric emerged regional champions for Central Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEMEA) in the Visa Everywhere Initiative (VEI) in June this year?

Well, on Thursday December 8, our Co-Founder, Ayo Arikawe traveled to Qatar along with four other regional winners, and history happened.

We took home the overall prize of $100,000 as well as the Visa Direct prize of $20,000!!! 🎊🎉🥂🍾

What does this win mean for our smallholder farmers?

Increased access to e-commerce, payment services and the world of social + financial inclusion.

Of course, all these ultimately mean… you guessed it — more food security and production, out of Africa to the world!
