Alien Worlds Community x Colonize Mars : Cosmic Salvagers Arcade Game Details
We are teaming up with the Alien Worlds | Galactic Hubs program to create an exciting experience for Colonize Mars and Alien Worlds players.
Cosmic Salvagers Arcade Game Overview
Cosmic Salvagers is an Arcade game inside of Colonize Mars, where mission control operatives score if they find the parts with fewer scans, and their reflexes when performing scans are accurate.
The game is played with the Rover. There is no limit to the number of games played, but each gameplay turn costs an arcade token, which can be found in exclusive starter packs (see below) OR purchased for 100 Martia once you have access to the arcade.
Once you start a game, you will need to locate alien spacecraft deposits on the game board. You must use scans to triangulate deposits:
Once you find a deposit, you will see the “Spaceship Part Found” alert pop up:
Find as many as you can before time runs out! At the end of the game, a score will be calculated as follows:
((# deposits found x 10,000) * (Triangulation Accuracy %)) * (Reflex %)
So if you found 20 deposits, did 30 scans, and had a reflex score of 90%:
((20 x 10,000) * (20 / 30)) * 90% = 120,000 Score
At the end of the game, you will see how your score ranks on the global leaderboard. You’ll need to have one of the highest scores to get prizes.
Every game played counts on the leaderboard, and the rank is for the single highest gameplay score you have (not cumulative).
Arcade Prizes
The Arcade starts on Sept 25th at 16:00 UTC and ends October 5th at 16:00 UTC. We will take a snapshot of the leaderboard at this time and distribute rewards via airdrops on Friday October 6th.
Your goal is to place as high on the leaderboard as possible with a single score by the end of the event.
The prizes are as follows:
1st Place: 20,000 TLM & an Epic RD9000 Excavator
2nd Place: 10,000 TLM & a Rare Artunian Shovel
3rd Place: 7,000 TLM & a Common Power Extractor
4th Place: 5,000 TLM & a Common Power Extractor
5th Place: 4,000 TLM & a Common Power Extractor
6th — 10th Place: 3,000 TLM each
11th — 50th Place: 1,000 TLM each
How to Gain Access to Cosmic Salvagers
Participation in the arcade game will be exclusive to Cosmic Salvagers Mission Patch NTT holders, which can only be obtained through the Exclusive Colonize Mars “Cosmic Salvagers” Starter Pack Vouchers.
You will need to get one of these Starter Pack Vouchers, then go to our in-game store, and redeem the voucher in order to get the Mission Patch. Once you have the mission patch, you will have access to the arcade game. The Starter Pack Voucher will also give you 10x Standard Colonize Mars NFTs to get started in Colonize Mars, as well as 10 free arcade tokens!
During this event, only 250 Cosmic Salvagers Starter Pack Vouchers will be distributed, following this scheme:
- 200 through blending
- 30 airdropped to Alien Worlds Syndicates
- 20 through Giveaway
Blend the Voucher
200 Starter Pack Vouchers will be distributed through blend.
On September 13th starting at 16:00 UTC we are going to open the Cosmic Salvagers Starter Pack Voucher blend.
In order to craft the Voucher, players will need 3 Alien Worlds Standard Shovels and 1 Standard Colonize Mars NFT from Mission One.
16:00 UTC — 16:10 UTC — Whitelist #1
Holders of any Colonize Mars Speciality Achievement of Stainless Steel Rarity or higher will enjoy early access to blend the Voucher. Here’s a refresher on how to level up a speciality and get this achievement!
16:20 UTC — 16:30 UTC — Whitelist #2
Holders of any Colonize Mars Speciality Achievement of Shadow Rarity or higher will enjoy early access to blend the Voucher.
16:40 UTC — 16:50 UTC — Whitelist #3
Holders of any Colonize Mars Speciality Achievement of Standard Rarity or higher will have pre-access to blend the Voucher. After 10 minutes the blend closes.
17:00 UTC — 17:30 UTC — Open to Public
Anyone will be able to blend the Voucher. After 30 minutes the blend closes.
Vouchers via Syndicates
On September 15th, a total of 30 Vouchers will be distributed to Alien Worlds Syndicates wallets, with each Syndicate (Eyeke, Neri, Magor, Veles, Naron, Kavian) receiving 5 Vouchers. The Syndicates will have the autonomy to decide how to distribute these Vouchers among their players, adhering to their own rules and guidelines.
Voucher Giveaway
20 Vouchers will be distributed through a giveaway.
Starting September 18th, we are going to hold a giveaway on Bountyblok.
Only Standard Speciality Achievement owners will be able to access the giveaway. This only takes a few minutes to set up your resource chain to earn this achievement and can be done with a few Standard Colonize Mars NFTs.
