With our upcoming Outpost Surge game launch, the Beras are heading to Mars! The Beranaut PFPs give you a custom in-game identity and come with a ton of perks and ongoing ecosystem utility.

Beranauts Overview

The Interplanetary Space Alliance (ISA) has been revamping Mars space suits to make it easier to explore the red planet. Inspired by bears, they cooked up “berahelmets” to boost astronaut senses and navigation. Now, any astronaut wearing the new design is aptly nicknamed a Beranaut. 🚀🐻

However, the ISA has received reports that astronauts sporting the upgraded gear have a tendency to sporadically yell Ooga Booga and have an unexplained affinity for honey. We’re investigating this further with our experts…

Each Beranaut comes with a unique Berahelmet, Visor, Cloak, Patch, Stripe, Background Scene and Mars Landscape. Some of the rarest Beranauts also have their hood up.

3 Tiers of Rarity

Beranauts fall into three main ranges of rarity: Standard, Epic and Mythic. Each tier corresponds to exclusive rewards & perks. Your Beranaut will be eligible for the highest tier of rewards it qualifies for:

Beranaut Airdrop (Free)

There are multiple ways to get a free Beranaut Airdropped to your wallet. You will get airdropped 1 Beranaut per qualification:

Top 50 on $MARTIA Staked Leaderboard*
Top 50 on Collection Strength Leaderboard*
Collect an Inverse BeraTardigrade
Collect all 10 Standard BeraTardigrade Varieties (limited to 1 per wallet)
Top 10 on Galxe Campaign Points Leaderboard

*You must connect your metamask wallet to the game UI before the snapshot.
The airdrop will occur after the mint is complete. May 20th is the target date.

We are also reserving a small amount for various giveaways throughout May and June, as we continue to promote Outpost Surge.

Beranaut Allowlist Discounted Mint

There are a few different ways you can get allowlisted for the discounted mint.

Option 1: Hold any OG Berachain NFTs such as Bong Bears, Bond Bears, Boo Bears, Baby Bears, Band Bears, Bit Bears, or Honey Combs.

Option 2: Score 100 points or more on the Outpost Surge Galxe Quests before the Snapshot.

Option 3: Hold at least 20,000 Collection Strength in Mission Control or be in the top 200 $MARTIA Staked Leaderboard*.

You can purchase a maximum of 3 Beranauts per wallet in the allowlist.

*You must connect your metamask wallet to the game UI before the snapshot.

Beranaut Public Mint

The public mint will be open for everyone. You can purchase a maximum of 10 Beranauts per wallet.

Mint Timing

Collect Tardigrades (Until May 11th) — Collect all 10!

Allowlist Snapshot (May 13th at 4pm UTC)— The snapshot for the allowlist and airdrop will be taken on for all qualifications.
Beranaut Mint (May 15th at 4pm UTC)— The Mint will start on for both the public and allowlisted mint tiers. Approximately 1,500 Beranauts will be reserved for allowlisted wallets. Beranauts will be minted with their traits concealed until the Reveal Event.
Beranaut Reveal Event (TBD)— A special event where we will reveal all Beranaut traits. This will most likely be coordinated with the launch of closed beta gameplay.
