Stages PDX Returns to Portland

Last year, Tyler Phillipi and I, along with a talented and dedicated team of doers, produced a conference called Stages PDX. Stages PDX was not (and is not) about theory, or fluff, or wasting anyone’s time or money (as many conferences do). Stages was (and is) all about taking our businesses to the next stage, about doing, about getting stuff done.

I am pleased to announce that Stages PDX is returning to Portland in September for its second annual working conference, bringing together hundreds of entrepreneurs, founders, and business owners for three days of engaging presentations, workshops, panels, networking, and getting stuff done.

This year we’re taking our conference to the next stage by focusing on challenges faced by entrepreneurs at both the ‘Build Stage’ and the ‘Launch Stage.’

Kicking things off will be our opening keynote speaker, who, after having spent over a decade as the Global Creative Director for Nike, and receiving 40 patents, Matt Rhoades started his own company. He is the Founder and Chief Creative of MatteLab, a product design agency and new product incubator with its own line of consumer goods: DRAU Sketchbooks and Mobili personal electric transportation. Be prepared to get stuff done after his talk.

Stages PDX is not about inspiration (and you will be inspired), or personal motivation (and you will be motivated), it’s all about getting stuff done. Our speakers are entrepreneurs who have been through exactly what you’re going through, and in addition to sharing their experience, strength and hope, they will demonstrate how to take the next steps that our businesses require. Let us help you take your company to the next stage.

See you there!
