I’m with you in the it is ‘unfortunately not as accepted by everyone’. I unfortunately know a number of people with mental health issues whose families are not willing to talk about it and try to keep it hidden/within the family. Friends, proper friends are generally quite open and accepting I’ve found.

I’m glad it doesn’t appear to be the case with Marissa. She may have that warm ‘everything is awesome’ glow you get with mania. Love that.
