Label GMOs Poster

The attention in this poster is the child eating a corn. Everyone eats food and about 95% of the food that are on shelves contain at least one genetically modified ingredient. The protein in that GMO ingredient can cause an allergic reaction and the consumers, this child, her parents, would never know because labeling GMOs has not yet become mandatory. The need is that we must label GMOs and be given the right to know about what ingredients are actually in our food. The satisfaction is getting our voice out there and signing a petition of have GMOs be labelled because ultimately, it is the consumers interests who the food companies must tailor to. The visualization is putting a label on the GMO product that say that the product has GMO ingredients and provide us with the different ingredients that have been injected into this food or link us to where we are able to access more information about that ingredient. The call to action is for people to sign a petition and have their voices heard that they have and want the right to know about what is actually in the foods that they consume and the foods that they are feeding to their families.
