KRATOS — Trade in Decentralized Physical Goods at Blockchain

In this article I will talk about a project that will solve the problems of the physical process of commodities trading presenting solutions to these problems, this project is called KRATOS. In the next paragraphs I will talk about the problems that exist today and then I will leave the solutions that KRATOS offers through its project.

One of the current problems in these negotiations is that there is a lack of transparency in terms of origin, quality and quantity of the goods ordered, as well as details of the shipment. Thus, buyers can not rely entirely on their trading partners and end up involving mediators such as brokers, private investigators and arbitrators, etc.

Another problem is the agility of negotiations, transactions can include a significant amount of manual administration due to discrepancies in documentation. Manual documentation is time-consuming and prone to errors. Therefore, manual documentation not only takes a few weeks to delay, but also results in increased costs.

Another issue is the quality assurance of the physical goods, but locations around the world where most of the products are commonly manufactured have very loss-making supervision and security. Even important documents can easily be changed. Due to lack of transparency in the system, quality assurance remains questionable in the commodity trade.

Another very important factor is the current market situation, SMEs face difficulties when they seek help from financial institutions to obtain financing for the commodity trade. Despite meeting the stringent economic requirements for trade finance and due diligence, SMEs are significantly less likely to receive funding of the same caliber as large participants because of the limited visibility and under-rating of potential funders.

After exposing the problems faced for commodity transactions, I present the solutions that KRATOS offers.

KRATOS has developed a registration process with Cured Token for the negotiations sent through its platform. The negotiations presented in the trade finance platform will be selected by token holders. The outcome of this curatorial process will be a list of high-quality negotiations that will represent a subset of negotiations that would otherwise not receive funding.

It would be difficult for other platforms to compete with Arkratos as it already has a functional MVP and has secured commitments for the use of its platform from several global commodity trading companies.

In summary, KRATOS will significantly transform and enhance trade in international physical commodities throughout its product life cycle. Commodity trading challenges include insufficient trust, manual documentation, and unnecessary intermediaries. These problems often result in significant delays and high costs. The KRATOS is a platform based on Ethereum employing Blockchain Technology and Intelligent contracts to meet these challenges, as a result, KRATOS platform provides transparency, greater efficiency and less complexity than any other existing system. Using this platform would result in faster deliveries and lower costs.
