Fort Collins is known to love food, but Fort Collins residents also love local spaces and healthy eating to support an active lifestyle. Below are five local grocery stops, new and old, which will benefit from your business.

1. Revolution Market

Beginning as a local popsicle stand, Revolution Pops have expanded and now have their own grocery store/restaurant. The new spot for health food in Old Town is located at 130 W Olive St Unit B. You can find already prepared vegan and vegetarian meals, have them make you a dish fresh, pick up groceries or all three in one trip.

2. Tortillas Las 4 Americas

Coupled with a tasty authentic sit down taqueria, 4 Americas is a bakery and ingredient stop for proper Mexican dishes and much more. You can also order a delicious taco and sit down to enjoy the dish after a day of grocery shopping.

3. Fort Collins Food Co-Op

Membership not required at this co-op! If it was made in Colorado, it will probably be in the aisles of this community grocery stop. Local produce, bulk items and even shampoos can be found here. This is the perfect place to pick up organic items, give back to the local community and often times chat with the growers of your food. Check out their website here.

4. Olive Tree International Market

The Olive Tree is your stop for hard-to-find mediterranean ingredients. Established in 1980, this market has been in Fort Collins longer than most of its residents. ‘Tiny but mighty’ is the best way to describe this grocery shop, while it is no super market, it is packed full of rich ingredients to create mediterranean dishes.

5. Larimer County’s Farmers’ Market

Although it is seasonal, this one stop shop cannot be left off the list. The only way to get your produce truly fresh (other than picking it yourself) is to visit your local farmers’ market. The Larimer County farmers’ market meets Saturdays, 8am — Noon, from May through Oct. Not only do they have all the produce you need, there is often live music and the market is a dog friendly space.
