Good stuff! I think it’s important to know the difference between two positions: (1) high-pressure goals that you want to do but are scared of (2) high-pressure goals you don’t want to do. Position 1 is what you want. If you put yourself in position 1, you will stretch yourself, feel alive, find out what you’re made of. If you put yourself in position 2, you’ll put sweat into something you didn’t want to do, you’ll just be doing something that someone else wanted you do do, you’ll deprive yourself of energy and feel resentful.
