I just read your updated post and I am glad you re evaluated it. However, I think it is good for you to see what I wanted to send to you below. this is how I felt after reading your post.

I am a parent and after reading your post, I think both of you deserve a good scolding for your lack of respect for other people’s work. As much as I understand your frustration and I applaud your conviction, this open letter was nothing more than spoiled, entitled, too smart for your own good whining. I read it, sent it along to a few friends who had the same conclusion, it’s “whine, whine, whine”. You are blessed to get a great education, accepted to exceptional institutions, just stop the bitching. Move on to college, enjoy life. People make mistakes, not everything will be to your standards. Learn how to respect the hard work people put in, the peers that attend the same school with. You will find that in the afterlife of college, you will not be coddled like you were at Harker, you will need to learn to behave yourselves and not be so quick to vilify others. You are bashing others, I wonder how you would feel if you were on the other end of the stick? Brats like you don’t get hired by companies because of your superiority complex, wouldn’t it be a bitch if you ended up working for someone who graduated from a lesser ranked college, like SJSU? Your self righteousness and holier than thou attitude will be trampled on when you simply don’t know when to “shut up”. You are probably sitting there thinking that this piece you wrote makes you superior and you’re probably patting yourselves on the back about it and thinking just how damn awesome you are. Here’s a rude awakening, you just sound like a brat ranting. Take a chill pill! Yes, you ended up at Stanford and Berkeley but your character traits are very ugly. ….and to your friends who gave you a thumbs up for this article, they’ve been sucked into your world and I feel sorry for them.
