When migraines keep you from the things you love.
I woke up early this morning, ready for the two hour drive to Eugene. This weekend is Black Sheep Gathering, a yearly event for enthusiasts of natural fiber and the animals those fibers come from. It’s also a time when some of my dearest friends drive up from Vacaville, CA to show their sheep.
I love BSG, walking around the vendor booths, learning about new sheep, watching people spin and knit. I was looking forward to seeing my friend Robin and her beautiful Jacob sheep.
But instead, I woke up with a migraine. Not a horrible one, one I would have been willing to work through, but why? So, we stayed home. I retreated to my migraine cocoon and slept for a few more hours.
I hate when migraines make my plans for me.
