It all started in Barre, Vermont in 2006 on a much smaller scale like all the other music does. At first it was only Mitchell, primary orchestrator & arranger Michael Chorney, original director & designer Ben T. Matchstick and local Vermont artists that constitute the musical. It was good but it wasn’t much of a theater product. Maybe Mitchell saw that too, she released it as a concept album in 2010. The musical did tour Vermont and Massachusetts for seven-day around ten-city. Though it was nothing like the National Tour level it is going on now.
