Contacting 500 Las Vegas Restaurants

The second major PR assignment I was given at my internship consisted of contacting 500 Las Vegas restaurants in the Las Vegas area. One of our clients is developing a social media marketing service called Evolution Media Group, and specifically wants to targets restaurants, bars and clubs, preferably with live entertainment. We found out, after attempting to market Tommy Savitt via the Internet, Facebook is the most effective tool for advertising. (All of the responses I received from entertainment reporters in the previous assignment contacted me via Facebook). My boss, therefore, decided I should contact all of the restaurants via Facebook Messenger. Of the 500 restaurants I contacted, five expressed interest, one of which ultimately became our new client: Lotus Siam, a Thai restaurant. All of the emails I sent were attached with three fliers made by another intern, which I edited for spelling and grammar.
