Using My Musical Knowledge at My Internship!

Recently, the company hired crooner Marc Antonelli as one of their representatives. I was assigned to make a set list for him for his upcoming debut performance at La Bella Napoli, a pizza restaurant. Additionally, I gave him several rules of thumb while creating a set list. I told him to insert his strongest and most popular songs in the middle sets, (in this case, the second and third sets) since this will likely be the time the venue will experience the highest amount of customers. I also told him to provide information of certain songs prior to performing them. For example, before singing “Somethin’ Stupid,” I told him to tell the audience the song was originally with one octave’s worth of notes in order to accommodate Nancy Sinatra’s limited vocal range.
