I’m glad you can read my mind about being disingenuous. Apparently unlike you, I am concerned about how effectively disenfranchising a subset of voters for four consecutive elections in a row might effect citizen’s’ opinions about the efficacy and fairness of elections. Similarly, I am concerned where a party with the majority of votes overall consistently ends up with no political power. The Constitution was largely designed to protect the minority from the majority. Our current situation is more reflective of the majority being subjected to minority rule. That kind of situation is not healthy for any country, republic or not.
