The sex of Karungi’s baby is not yet established as of this writing. This is the second baby born in the Mubare group within a period of 3 weeks.

It’s great news and a big success to mountain gorilla conservation and for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which already is home to 50% of the world’s mountain gorilla populations.
