Drinking areas are great spots for viewing wildlife. One of such areas is at Masuma Dam in Hwange National Park. The dam has a large thatched hide which is a great spot for viewing large herds of elephants, zebra and hippos drinking together at the nearby waterhole.

During the drier times at Hwange National Park, the views at the dam are spectacular as large numbers of animals make their way to the waterhole sometimes giving way for amazing drama.
