This Fantasy Life

Fantasy Football is back, thank god. What you will see here is the documentation of my Fantasy journey as I navigate through five public leagues and try to fight my way back to the top. Fantasy has become life and there’s a certain obligation I feel to share and pass on my experiences through this NFL season. The emotional swings, highs and lows, dramatic scenarios that the Fantasy world knows all too well must be chronicled through the eyes of a man who simply enjoys the game.

Two years ago I won my first 10team public league, last year I entered five 10team public leagues… I won them all. I don’t know how, you may even call it luck; all I know is that it was fun as hell. This year I will be doing the same looking to repeat this unbelievable feat, five 10team public leagues. All the leagues will be yahoo standard scoring format, and of course you can check the validity of my documentation by following my profile name on yahoo @ Tido W. Positions go as followed, 1QB, 3WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1DEF, 1K, 6Bench Players.

This Fantasy is about philosophy, about trusting your instincts. It’s not about listening to the experts or pundits; it’s about doing whatever you want and most importantly having fun while doing it. Why not be a fan of the guys on your team? Why not root for the players you select? I believe we can find a happy medium between fan and general manager, in fact for the best Fantasy experience you must find that pleasant medium, it is essential.

Always remember and keep in mind this is all theory, information and philosophy that’s being expressed in general terms. Each individual situation may call for some altering of code, some adjustment, some intuitive improvisation.

I did not intend to create this platform to tell anyone what they should or shouldn’t do, but rather to share my experiences, my successes and failures, to show you my moves how I maneuver and perhaps my thinking behind them. Feel free to leave comments or suggestions for topics. Feel free to disagree and to challenge anything you read here, this is open forum and all discussion is welcome.
